The Lunar month is almost at the end. I had the privileage watching the Lion Dance organised by the company recently.
There were 4 lions, performing acrobatic dance on 8 pillars. After the dance, the lions been "feed" with cabbage or melons, while the performers group are rewarded with "ang pows".
This Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck for the company. The staffs too have the opportunity to allow the lions to perform at their working desk provided "ang pow" is given upfront.
Normally, the company would invite a Lion Dance performing company to organise the event. As years pass by, it makes more sense for the company to actually set up their own Lion Dance small performing group.
