Traditionally, we wake up early, bathe and put on new clothes. Go to mosque for Raya prayer which ends at 10 am. We had a quick breakfast together before we start visiting our relatives.
Breakfast serves are Ketupat, Kuah Kacang, Rendang Daging, Rendang Ayam, Serun
ding Ikan and cakes.
This year, the F-I-L (father in law) decided to visit their grandmother in Ampang and later visit all relatives in Klang. MIL's relatives are in Klang. FIL's relatives are in Negeri Sembilan.
We only managed to visit 6 homes and left 7 to go ! MIL has 13 siblings ! FIL only has 2 (I think).
We reach home at 6 pm after the long journey. Kids had fun but exhausted.
We quickly cleanse ou
rselves because we are VERY SURE some of MIL siblings will drop by to complete their 13 visits for the day !
In fact, our last guest left at 11.30 pm. It was a pleasant guess and we finish all the food cook for raya.
Guess, tomorrow will eat normal food... no more rendang...
But, WAIT, we still have 7 homes to visit on Raya-2 day... heheheh
